{June 3, 2007}   Update

I know it has been quite a while since I posted anything.  I have been really busy and have also spent some time traveling. Also, I had a death in the family recently. Hopefully things will get back to “normal” this coming week.

 As of today,  I have  lost 42 lbs since I officially joined Weight Watchers on November 26, 2006, bringing my total weight loss since October to around 62 lbs! 

I must admit I was afraid to weigh-in today after being on vacation.  But,  I am happy to report that I didn’t gain weight on my vacation. In fact, I actually lost 2.5 lbs. That was very encouraging. 

The denim capris I just bought last month are all too large for me now (which is a good thing for me,  just not so great for my wallet).  I hate to buy anything new because I end up only being able to wear it for a month or so. But, I don’t really have much choice when I can take my jeans off without unzipping them. Droopy drawers are not cute! 🙂

Today’s weigh-in was somewhat disappointing. I maintained. Although I realize that there are going to be weeks like this it is still a little disheartening.  This week I am going to try to use my points on more healthy items and not use very many weekly flex points. I also plan to drink more water and try to be very consistent in my exercise plan.



{February 20, 2007}   Goodbye Soda!

I think I have decided to give up soda for Lent.  I drink A LOT of diet coke, so this is going to be a real challenge. I feel sorry for my co-workers, friends and family members.



{February 18, 2007}   Weigh-In 2/18

-3 lbs. I didn’t post last week’s weigh-in, but I lost 2.5 last week, bringing my total weight loss since Nov. 26th to 23.5 lbs.

I just recalculated my daily points target and confirmed that I now have to drop to 23 points per day.



{February 4, 2007}   Weigh-In 02/04

I lost 3 lbs. this week! I really don’t know how. I only exercised once and I was menstrual.  However; I didn’t use any of my weekly flex points. Perhaps that has something to do with it.  Anyway, today’s weigh-in officially brings my total weight loss since joining WW to 18.5 lbs!

I lost two and a half pounds.



{January 28, 2007}   “The best-laid plans…”

I was doing so well until last night. I had planned to watch a movie with a friend and eat lean cuisine for dinner. However, one of our mutual friends invited us to meet her for a drink. Then she called and told us she wanted to stop for dinner first.  I reluctantly agreed, thinking that this particular restaurant still offered healthy selections.  Unfortunately, those items were not on the menu.  My friend Stacy and I decided to share something.  Afterwards, we went for drinks and I had 2 glasses of wine.  I don’t know the nutritional information for the items I ate at the restaurant, but I am sure I went over my points. I still had weekly flex points, so I am hoping that will redeem me. 

 Today my best friend wanted to have mexican. I had a mahi-mahi fish taco and we shared some nachos and salsa.  All I had eaten today was a banana, so I am hoping that I didn’t add insult to injury with today’s choices. Weigh in is tomorrow, so I’ll soon find out. Since I didn’t weigh in last week due to the weather I am hoping for a minimum loss of 2 lbs., although  4 would be wonderful.

I will post my results tomorrow.
